According to statistics, the US imported around 13,600 tons of industrial aluminum in September, dropping by 2.9% compared to the preceding month but rising on a year-on-year basis.
Among them, the imports from Canada increased by 4.01% to 10,200 tons, and those from Mexico slid by 20.7% to 3,200 tons, both month on month.
In the first three quarters of this year, the US’s industrial aluminum imports amounted to approximately 128,100 tons, a year-on-year increase of 18.3%.
