According to a notice from the US International Trade Administration (USITA) on August 26, 2022, the US Department of Commerce (USDOC) initiated a circumvention inquiry to determine whether imports of aluminiumplader produced from alloy 4017 are circumventing the current anti-dumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) measures imposed on common alloy aluminum sheet from China, based on a request submitted by the Aluminum Association Common Alloy Aluminum Sheet Working Group and its individual members.
